Woodsmoke Ranch is a private recreational vehicle community providing leisure time activities for the enjoyment of its property owners, their families and guests.

 Woodsmoke Ranch Association, “The Ranch” contains 1,486 campsites on 394 acres.  Each site is approximately 5,000-sq. ft. and all sites have water, electric, and sewerage disposal.  Phone and cable TV are also available.  The Ranch has a variety of amenities which include: an authentic western town, paved roads, 24 Hr. gated security, two swimming pools, two pavilions, two stocked lakes, tennis courts, baseball field, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, volleyball, playgrounds and a stables.  There are planned recreation activities on weekends from May to October, with special holiday programs for Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day, arts & crafts, flea market, bingo, bands/music, car shows, canoe trips, trips to the river boats, ballgames, etc.     

The Ranch is located in the Illinois River Valley and is open year around.  The area offers many attractions and activities no matter what the season or you can relax at your site and get away from it all.  The Illinois river and I&M Canal are less than 4 miles away, La Salle Lake is 7 miles away and Hiedickie Lake is only a 30 minute drive.  These areas provide a wide variety of fishing and boating activities for all ages.  Illini State Park, Starved Rock and Buffalo Rock are only a short drive from the Ranch and provide opportunities for hiking, biking and site seeing.  Auto racing fans can enjoy the Morris speedway, which is just 12 miles away.  Summer festivals and carnivals abound in the surrounding communities and culminate with the Sandwich Fair in early September.  The Ranch and surrounding area provides a wonderful fall spectrum of color leading up to the Ranch’s festive Halloween activities.
