We are almost through the month making it that much closer to camping season! Winter makes the park looks beautiful with the snow, the horses are playing and the deer are enjoying walking freely around the park.
February has been a mixed month of snowfall, ice and very cold temperatures. Being a campground, we don’t treat the streets the same as a city does. We are actively plowing the main roads as necessary but it still can be considered a hazardous condition to drive through. More than one person required a tow out, as their vehicle slid off the road.
We love our park, and enjoy visiting as often as possible. If you have to come out in the winter, we suggest not visiting during, or just after a snowstorm.
Waiting to have campfires together…
